Submersible pump shaft and bearing
Submersible pump shaft and motor shaft should be the same unit, the pump shaft should be an extension of the motor shaft, no coupling or no coupling.
The pump/motor shaft shall be mounted on a high quality lubricated rolling bearing designed to withstand all axial and radial forces.
Thermal protection of submersible pump
The motor of submersible pump is protected by normally closed temperature sensor. The three sensors should be connected in series. The thermal switch should be closed frequently at 70℃ or below and trip at 125℃. The thermal switch shall be connected with the motor overload protection device and the control cabinet. The terminal box shall include the terminal board. The terminal plate shall adopt elastic o-ring and motor seal. The terminal plate shall be fixed and connected with the cable and stator incoming wire through the threaded pressure rod.
To show the wear of submersible pump bearings, a normally closed temperature sensor is installed on each upper and lower bearing. The temperature sensor should be disconnected before serious damage occurs to the spindle or other parts of the motor.
